Unlike hinges that come with typical fiberglass bodies, this hinge was developed to put an end to hood "flop" causing your hood to close on the cowl or fender and ruining your paint. 

Materials, welding, bushings are all the very best quality.  The plated version is show quality chrome by R&D in Elizabethton, TN.  This hinge can be used for any side opeing one-piece hood or can easily be installed as a trunk lid hinge.
